Whatever your kids' ages, Camp Grande at Grand Wailea Resort in Maui has you covered.
Measuring 20,000 square feet in size, the "Children's Resort" offers a great selection of activities for children ages five to twelve. Kids have their own restaurant, craft room, theater, game room, and outside play area. Activities include hikes, nature walks and special workshops, such as Lei Making, Ukulele Lessons and T-Shirt Dyeing.
Children ages four and under need adult supervision in the Rainbow Room which features "Tunnels of Fun," "Climb and Slide Play Center," and a 21-piece block set. All three activity centers are made of “soft play” material in bright colors. The Imaginary Room includes Legos, building blocks, a play kitchen, and a puppet show stand with friendly puppets.
Teenage guests get to relax at Spa Grande during "Co-ed Teen Spa Night" and compete on the big screen in Camp Grande's movie theater at the "X-box® Teen Challenge." Camp Grande’s "Counselor in Training" program allows campers ages 13 through 17 to assist instructors and lead activities, competitions and games year round.
Grand Wailea Resort completed an extensive $50 million renovation in 2009. Rooms start at $399/night.
